The Project

Between wanting to bring art to the Alexandra precinct and the tunnel serving its core function of being a walk way, it was a balancing act between the artists and the management teams of the Alexandra Point Tunnel. The result is one that promises to bring momentary surprises like artist Wei’s “Very Momentary Exhibition” series. The art installation is unassuming with its typical white lights but completely transforms into Wei's signature rainbow lights. In addition, the collaboration with various artists has enhanced the rainbow lights experience with movement (Matthew Sia), sound (The Analog Girl) and powerful words (Chong Jia Yi).

Locating just next to the Alexandra Point bus stop along Alexandra Road (refer to Google map location here), the rainbow light at the Alexandra Point Tunnel will appear for a few minutes each day at 8am, 9am, 12pm, 1pm, 6pm, 7pm and an undisclosed surprise timings.

Throughout 2024, visitors can expect to see House of VSE collaborations with various artists to respond to the theme “What’s inside your rainbow?”. So do stay tuned for future updates here or simply follow us on instagram @houseofvse.

“For those who are lost
 For those we have lost”

Words flows out when you least expected.
Form phrases, sentences and poems.
You write them till they run out.
An ending.
A start.
With the power of words, stones and feathers.
I write.
And end.
I start again.

The Art of
Very Momentary Exhibition
